When life takes an unexpected turn, what are you supposed to do? This is a question that Arkansas native (and former Bentonville resident), Brad Byrd, had to ask himself. Moving through his twenties, Brad faced the difficulties of disappointment, heartache and loss of direction like everyone does. The difference? In order to cope and move forward, he turned to songwriting. Now 27, he is pursuing a career as a performer and professional songwriter.

"I lost all sense of direction. The only thing I knew to do was write. It was my personal form of therapy. Everything changed for me when some good friends heard what I'd been writing and said 'You have to do something with these songs'. If I hadn't had that support, I wouldn't be doing this today. I still write to process my feelings and whatever life throws at me, but now, I'm also writing with the hope that it will help somebody else who feels lost or like they're the only one going through something. Now, I'm writing to affect and better someone else's life. That's what keeps me going."

Back in October of 2017, Brad released his first single, called "See The Light". A month later, he released his first EP of original songs, entitled "Silhouettes". The EP features the single "See The Light" as well as the 2017 Alchemy Songwriting Competition "Best Alternative/Rock" song and "Fan Favorite" winner "Ghost Dancer". Brad is now writing more songs than ever before and has plans to enter the studio again soon to work on future releases.

Josh Noren was born in Paradise California, raised in Bentonville, Arkansas and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2010 to pursue a life of music. He started playing guitar at age 12 and writing and recording original songs as a sophomore in high school. Now 27, Josh is still going at it and can't wait to see where the journey leads him! oming Soon
