Come enjoy an evening of music and desserts with Eric Peters! Koey Smith will open our show!

"A performing singer-songwriter since 1993, Eric's tenth studio project, Far Side Of The Sea, an empathy-themed concept album, as well as its companion photo-essay book (Far Side Of The Sea: A Photographic Memory), is now available. Eric has a soft spot for folks who, like him, struggle with anxiety, depression, and are in recovery. An artist to the core, Eric also paints, creates folk-art sculptures out of repurposed, found objects (Daily Piece), and is an avid collector of books. He lives in Nashville, TN with his bride and their two boys.

An artist can be identified in part by the materials with which he or she chooses to work. The work of Eric Peters has given way to a fascination for found objects for quite some time, revealing much about the heart and mind, the passion and the perspective of the artist himself. Eric’s affection for found objects is clearly seen within his artwork."

“Peters is a standout among the overcrowded scene of singer/songwriter folk-pop.” – RELEVANT Magazine

“It’s clear that Eric Peters has a love for literature and an ear for a great pop hook. Peters has the skills of a seasoned artist.” – Christianity Today

"My name is Koey Smith. I'm 21 years old and I work as an Adventure Guide at a camp. I was born in Texas and from then on, moved around with my family. My parents divorced my freshman year and I've been writing songs since. I've found that God has awoken in me more and more a desire to worship Him and declare His truth. I've grown in my time alone w/ Him and in the ability to share the songs God gives me."

Tickets are $10 at the door. Doors will open at 7:00 pm. We will have desserts and beverages and hope to create the intimate feel of a house concert at the wonderful Meteor Guitar Gallery. We hope you'll stay and hang out after the show! Our goal is to build a community of Christians who love and appreciate good art, music, food, and fellowship together! Look for more shows to be added in the future!
